Jake Jacklich became a Financial Advisor in 2005 after he retired as Naval Submarine Officer with twenty years service. He worked his way through college to become a trained nuclear engineer and led a committed team to cross the world’s oceans. He graduated from the University of Washington and received his master’s degree from the Naval Post Graduate School. Jake started with Waddell & Reed and joined Lincoln Financial in 2012.
Jake was twice elected as President of the Hampton Roads Financial Planning Association. He is a local specialist in the nuances associated with the transition of professional practices. He has spoken on financial planning topics at dental study clubs and at the Virginia Dental Association’s state meeting. Jake is a published author. His book, Money Malocclusion—Tools and Strategies for Dentists to Align Practice and Personal Goals, was published in 2015. He co-founded the Dental Business Network with Linda Miles in 2006. He lives in Norfolk and is the proud dad to Jerzy & Kasper.
